After breakfast today you'll fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia (REP), just outside the magnificent temple complex of Angkor Wat, and check in to our charming, central, gay-welcoming accommodations. Breakfast at hotel. City sightseeing including the Royal Palace and Wat Po, Vimanmek Palace and Dusit Throne Hall tour. Evening at leisure. Take a disco nap, then enjoy a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya river with illuminated palaces and temples. Overnight in Bangkok.
Thursday, 28 December 2023 Bangkok Tour
Morning free to recover from last night's festivities. Breakfast at hotel, or brunch out if you sleep in. This afternoon, you'll tour Jim Thompson House. Overnight in Bangkok.
Friday, 29 December 2023 Bangkok to Phuket
Breakfast at the hotel then check-out and transfer to airport. Retrieve your dive gear from storage and fly to Phuket (HKT), where we will board our Thailand liveaboard!
The Angkor Wat area includes many different and interesting temples besides Angkor Wat itself, such as Tat Phrom and Banteay Srei, and you'll have the opportunity to visit several of them and experience the scope and magnificence of the Khmer civilization for yourself at a relaxed pace.
