Experience Fijian hospitality at the Paradise Taveuni Resort on the Garden Island of Taveuni, known for its lush landscape and proximity to Fiji's signature Somosomo Strait diving.
In addition to diving, you can explore beaches, hike to waterfalls, and experience a traditional lovo feast and festive meke where the villagers sing and dance to share their culture with you. Feel your lips go numb as you catch a buzz from the kava we share with the local chief as a tribute. This is a true South Pacific adventure, and Fijians are so friendly you'll never believe they were once cannibals!
With a choice of uncrowded dive sites, Taveuni is a dream destination for intermediate to experienced divers. Since the soft corals "bloom" in current, drift diving is the norm rather than the exception. New divers should gain experience with strong current on Cozumel or elsewhere before diving the Somosomo Straits.
This week is open to all LGBTQ+ divers and our friends. Saturday to Saturday stays are also easily accommodated.
Package Includes:
- 7 nights at Paradise Taveuni Resort (double occupancy air-conditioned Oceanfront vale)
- 5 days of diving; 2 dives each morning with two additional afternoon dives during the week
- Free shore diving during dive shop hours (7 am to 5 pm)
- One night dive
- Cooked breakfast, 2-course lunch, and 3-course dinner daily

Not included:
International and inter-island flights, rental equipment or Nitrox ($10/tank), additional alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, any additional afternoon or night boat dives, in-room wi-fi, and items of a personal nature.
Tipping directly is not the custom in Fiji, but do feel free to contribute to the Christmas fund distributed annually to the entire staff. If you have extra luggage allowance you can also bring some supplies needed by the village.
Limited upgrades to stand-alone Oceanview and Oceanfront bures are available.
Getting there:
Fiji lies just to the west of the International Date Line, so plan to begin travel from North America on Friday, May 28 on Fiji Airways. Flights to Fiji from LAX and SFO land the next morning (May 30 due to the International Date Line) and connect to the island of Taveuni (TVU).
Return home or travel onward any time on June 6.
