This private charter of M/V Bilikiki offers a unique opportunity to
visit this fascinating South Pacific destination in comfort and the company
of fellow LGBTQ+ travelers.
The nine-night itinerary allows for exploration, including a visit to Marovo Lagoon.
The Solomon Islands, situated between Papua New Guinea
and Fiji, offer some of the most pristine diving in
the world. Expect to see hard coral gardens, schools
of pelagics, brilliantly colored tropical fish, giant
sea fans, eagle rays, and sharks.
This unspoiled destination is one of diving’s last
frontiers - there is no industrialization and the islanders
survive in a subsistence economy. Our neighbors for
the trip will be visiting villagers in their dugout
canoes. You will not see any other dive boats, or very
many people. These islands are lightly populated and
reflect a simpler time.
We’ll sail in air conditioned comfort
aboard the Bilikiki. This large ship offers plenty
of room to spread out, and cabins with private bath
and housekeeping service. Due to diving off of tenders,
topography and currents, this trip is for intermediate
and more experienced divers. DAN or another dive medical
evacuation insurance is required and is available through
UnderseaX.
Our Package Includes:
- Nine nights aboard M/V Bilikiki in a/c double occupancy
cabins with private facilities
- Transfers to/from hotels or Henderson Airport in Honiara (HIR)
- All meals and between meal snacks
- Daily housekeeping service and dive deck towel service
- Up to 5 dives a day (4 day dives plus 1 night
dive)
- Tanks, weights and weight belt
Not Included:
Dive gear rental if required, airfare to Honiara (HIR), bed tax ($25/night = $225), Nitrox (highly recommended),
tips, beverages, alcohol, and items of a personal nature.
Flights:
Fly to Honiara (HIR) via Nadi, Fiji (NAN) on Fiji Airways. Alternatively, you can fly Solomon Airlines or Qantas from Brisbane, Australia (BNE). Arrive anytime on October 22 and depart on November 1 back to Fiji, or November 2 to Australia directly.

Fiji Airways, a OneWorld partner, flies from SFO, LAX, and DFW to Nadi (NAN). Depart North America on October 16 and join Christine Simon for a pleasant four nights in Fiji as a warm-up, or fly to Nadi on the night of Tuesday, October 21 and just connect to Honiara (HIR) after arrival on November 22 (after crossing the International Date Line):
You can return to Nadi on November 1 and back to North America that evening, or continue on to Australia on November 2 to join our Coral Sea & Great Barrier Reef liveaboard.
Deposit:
$1000 initial deposit. Second payment of $1000 due at nine months (January 23), third payment of $1000 due 180 days prior
to departure (April 26) and final payment due 120 days prior departure (June 25).
