GREAT BARRIER REEF,
AUSTRALIA

Heron Islan Aerial View

Heron Island Resort
5 Nights on the
Great Barrier Reef

March 3-8, 2008

Voyages Heron Island:
from $1499
per person

Immerse yourself in one of the world's most spectacular reef destinations!

Heron Island is a true coral cay, located right on the Great Barrier Reef. The island is ribboned by sugar white sands, crystal clear waters and ascres of brilliant coral with beautifully colored marine life. At this World Heritage-listed Marine National Park, all flora and fauna are protected, so the island is a nature lover's paradise where the emphasis is on enjoying natural beauty. Stress is replaced by a sense of adventure and days are filled with discovery.

Heron is world famous for its fantastic scuba diving and snorkeling. Experience some of Australia's best dive spots - more than 30 dive sites are available, half of which are only 15 minutes away due to the island's location right atop the outer Great Barrier Reef.

Heron also offers many activities for non-divers such as guided island and reef walks, semi-submersible cruises and private beach picnics. An amazing array of animal and bird life can be discovered throughout the year, such as the delightful Green and Loggerhead turtles, hatching during our March visit.

At Voyages Heron Island, you won't see any buildings above the treeline, as the resort has been thoughtfully designed to blend with the surrounding environment. We've reserved a variety of room packages to fit all budgets:

            Turtle Room                 $1499
            Reef Suite                    $1699 Suite upgrade
Heron Beachfront        $1899 Spacious beachfront upgrade

Learn more about the room types here. All are cooled by natural sea breezes, and Point Suites are also air-conditioned.
