Discover Sint Eustatius, better known as Statia, on a luxury LGBTQ+ scuba vacation in March. This green island nestled between St. Kitts and Saba, close to St. Maarten, changed hands 22 times before eventually coming under Dutch rule, where it remains today as part of the Caribbean Netherlands. The island earned the nickname “Golden Rock” from its prominence as a trading port in the 17th century. In 1776, Statia became the first foreign port to recognize the new United States of America.

Make your airline reservations to St. Maarten (SXM) and on to Statia (EUX) and forward to us a copy of your e-tickets. We're happy to help you find the best flights.
Getting there:
Easy air connections are available on many airlines to St. Maarten (SXM). From there it's a short flight on Winair to St. Eustatius (EUX) or a fun ferry ride. You'll need to book those connections separately. Please plan to arrive on St. Maarten no later than 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 28. The last flight of the day to Statia from St. Maarten on WinAir is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., and seats are limited.
WinAir has now simplified its online ticketing process, so you can book your own flight to St. Eustatius (EUX) from St. Maarten (SXM) and back online at http://www.fly-winair.com/. Please make sure to allow at least two hours between your flights each way for baggage handling and check-in.
