If you have an interest in coral reefs and their ecology, you probably have heard about the "Coral Triangle". This area of the Indo-Pacific is home to the greatest biodiversity of fish, coral and other marine life on the entire planet, and the Philippines form the upper vertex of the triangle.
An archipelago of 7,107 islands, the Philippines are a beautiful, LGBTQ-friendly destination and a remarkable value. We have chosen two outstanding locations to introduce you to this coral paradise, five nights at Atlantis Dumaguete resort followed by a week on the beautiful Philippines Siren to the other islands of the Visayas, including exciting Malapascua!
Explore the waters of the Philippines with Maureen McEvoy and the Northern California Rainbow Divers at Atlantis Dumaguete Resort, a PADI Five Star CDC facility and one of Asia's top dive resorts. Atlantis Dumaguete enjoys easy access to Apo Island, one of the Philippines most renowned dive sites.
With up to five boat dives scheduled each day, it's easy to get your fill of nitrogen, so please bring a dive computer or rent one there. This is a great opportunity to get Advanced Open Water or Nitrox training in preparation for the liveaboard. Air-conditioned accommodations, five boat dives a day (including night dives), and breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
After this warm-up, almost any diver can be ready to join Maureen and the Rainbow Divers for liveaboard diving in Malapascua and the Visayas February 2-9, 2024.
Come experience diving the magic of diving in the Coral Triangle with a friendly and fun group of mostly lesbian divers and friends. It's easy to pair up with a dive buddy on our two private dive boats.
