Your trip leaders for the week, Linda Bush and Terra Lee, will help make sure everyone is comfortable and warmly welcomed here in the beautiful South Pacific. With a choice of uncrowded dive sites, Fiji is a great destination for both relatively new and experienced divers. You'll explore both easy diving at near-shore sites, as well as the Vatu-i-Ra passage of the Bligh Waters, where you can expect some current that makes the soft coral "bloom."

Not included:
Rental equipment, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages other than tea and coffee, additional afternoon boat dives (FJD 130, approx US $60) and night dives, and items of a personal nature.

Tipping directly is not the custom in Fiji, but do feel free to contribute to the Christmas fund distributed annually to the entire staff.

Flights:
Fiji lies just west of the International Date Line, so plan to begin travel from North America on Thursday, May 26.

From North America, Fiji Airways flies non-stop from Los Angeles (LAX). We offer a guaranteed group rate of $1300, or you can book the flights yourself online at http://www.fijiairways.com beginning in early July 2015 for under $1000 for as long as the sale fare seats are available.

Feel free to use miles to book your flights if you prefer. Fiji Airways partners with American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and Qantas. Please allow at least three hours at LAX to make connections in either direction.

Flights are also available on several airlines from Australia and New Zealand.

Deposit:
A deposit of $750 is due upon booking, plus any non-refundable add-on fares from departure gateways other than LAX. Second deposit of $500 due six months prior to departure. Balance due 90 days prior to departure.

Non-diver: deduct $250
