Gay Philippines Scuba Vacation

Explore the Coral Triangle!

April 9-16, 2011
$1783 per person

Advanced Tubbataha Expedition:
April 16-23: $1799

Dive Boats on Beach at Dumaguete

If you have an interest in coral reefs and their ecology, you probably have heard about the "Coral Triangle". This area of the Indo-Pacific is home to the greatest biodiversity of fish, coral and other marine life on the entire planet, and the Philippines comprise the upper vertex of the triangle.

An archipelago of 7,107 islands, the Philippines are a beautiful, gay-friendly destination and a remarkable value. We have chosen two outstanding locations to introduce you to this coral paradise, the land-based resort of Atlantis Dumaguete and our optional advanced excursion to the remote UNESCO World Heritage site of the Tubbataha Reefs.

Explore the waters of the Philippines with 16 or more other gay divers at Atlantis Dumaguete Resort, a PADI Five Star CDC facility and one of Asia's top dive resorts. Atlantis Dumaguete enjoys easy access to Apo Island, one of the Philippines most renowned dive sites. With up to five boat dives scheduled each day, it's easy to get your fill of nitrogen, so bring a dive computer or rent one there. This is a great place to get advanced or Nitrox training. Air-conditioned accommodations and breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

Advanced divers who are comfortable in strong currents, ocean swells and remote locations can also join us for liveaboard diving to Tubbataha Reefs April 16-23.

Come experience diving the magic of diving in the Coral Triangle with a friendly and fun group of gay divers. We are happy to match you with a roommate if you travel solo, or ask us about single supplements if you prefer your own room. It's easy to find a dive buddy on our private dive boat.

Our Package Includes:

  • 7 nights in a deluxe room at Atlantis Resort Dumaguete (double occupancy)
  • Unlimited scheduled local boat dives at 9 am, 11 am, 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm (and night dives available every day)
  • Two day trips to Apo Island (or our choice of Siquijor, Balicasag or Sumilon)
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily
  • Complimentary coffee, tea and filtered water 6 am - 6 pm
  • Welcome mixer with the other gay divers
  • Complimentary unlimited internet access
  • Roundtrip domestic airfare between Manila and Dumaguete with shuttle service between Dumaguete airport and the resort

Not Included:

International airfare to Manila, airport departure taxes (currently PhP 200 for domestic departures from Manila, PhP 30 from Dumaguete, and PhP 750 for international departures), rental equipment, other alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, tips and items of a personal nature.

Getting there:

Fly directly to Manila (MNL), arriving on April 9th before 2 pm or earlier and home on April 16 (or April 23 if you are staying for the Tubbataha liveaboard) on any flight after 3 pm that's convenient for you. There are non-stop flights from the U.S. to Manila on Philippines Airlines and connecting service on many other airlines.
