Explore Baja California and the exciting Sea of Cortez from La Paz this fall with a friendly group of bears, cubs, daddies, otters, and other gay male divers! All guests on our expeditions must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, regardless of Mexico's current entry requirements.
You’ll dive the legendary Sea of Cortez, known for its schools
of fish, rays and sea lions. Explore ‘El
Bajo’ seamount in search of the elusive hammerhead sharks known to lurk in the depths, and ‘Los
Islotes’, home to a colony of sea lions. Cortez diving is unique: rocky reefs and pinnacles with some coral and a variety of colorful fish endemic to this area of the Eastern Pacific.
October offers the best diving conditions here, with water that's bathtub warm and usually calm and clear outside of the rare hurricane. Rent a car on our last day or chip in for one with your new friends from the group and explore the quaint artists' town of Todos Santos, an hour away on the Pacific side of the peninsula.
If the whale sharks have arrived for the winter, you'll be offered an optional snorkeling expedition with them at an additional cost of $110 plus 16% tax. Fingers crossed!
