From the moment you arrive in Papua New Guinea, wonderful experiences begin...

...the vivid colors and friendly faces coupled with that marvelous scent of warm earth, sunshine and tropical plants immediately convey to your senses that you are visiting a place like no other.

On the Air Niugini flight to Hoskins in West New Britain, you will also realize that this is no ordinary vacation. Mountain ranges that top 14,000 feet divide the main island. The deeper valleys remained isolated until the 1930s; the land we fly over is home to people of 700 different languages and cultures that are just as diverse. We’ll visit them on our pre-trip expedition to the gathering of the clans at the Mt. Hagen Show.

The M/V Oceania launched in 2019, and it's the liveaboard we've been waiting for in order to return to Papua New Guinea after 17 years. This 27 meter catamaran offers eight air-conditioned cabins with private bath, all above deck with ocean view, designed to make our trip one of the most enjoyable you will ever experience.

M/V Oceania cruises from Walindi, the world renowned dive resort located on the North Coast of New Britain. Diving Kimbe Bay and the offshore Fathers Reefs, M/V Oceania is our seaborne platform that provides easy access to spectacular dive areas, offering up to four dives each day. Some of those reefs are rarely visited by divers or photographers. They are remote with superb visibility and prolific fish life.

Our Package Includes:
  • Nine nights aboard the M/V Oceania (double occupancy)
  • Up to four dives per day
  • All meals and snacks
  • Tanks, weights, weight belt
  • Transfers on day of arrival / departure

Not included:
Airfare to Papua New Guinea and to Hoskins, airport departure taxes, tips, rental equipment, and items of a personal nature.

Flights:
It's cheapest to book your own flights from Brisbane, Singapore or Hong Kong directly with Air Niugini, arriving in Hoskins on August 24 and staying one night at Walindi Resort.

Although a morning departure is possible, we suggest a 12:30 pm departure on September 3 so you still can dive on the morning of September 2.

Contact us for assistance with flight suggestions.

Deposit:

$1000. Second payment of $1000.00 due nine months prior to departure. Third payment of $1000 at 180 days prior to departure and final payment due 120 days prior departure.

Optional Pre-Trip to Mt. Hagen Show, PNG Highlands, and Sepik Region:
We’ll enjoy the Mt. Hagen Sing Sing where the tribes gather annually to show off their traditional dress, dance, and culture. Click here for more information.
